BasicGrey-Birthday tea...

Hi...there is a new challenge over at

the BasicGrey Challenges blog today

and it is "Anything Goes" with some of

 your BasicGrey crafty goodies please..

i have used the BG Pyrus 12x12 paper
and the sweet Sarah Kay image-
Tea please...

i stamped the frame onto the BG paper,
then stamped+punched out the
four corners again and raised them with foam pads
cut and folded the DooHicky die
and stamped across the top with the frame stamp
added a few small pearls, buttons,cord
and coloured with VersaColor cubes
and Marvy pens

"Happy Birthday" big Sis...

Hi... hope you are doing ok?
 a card for my sister's birthday on the 19th,

really enjoyed making this for her...

just thought i would have a go at

a card with no main image 

i have cut a couple of fabric flowers

with the Crealies die-CL CF 06

and used a new tag stamp-

Stampendous (CRP157)

lots of little bits on this one-
lace,pearls,buttons,corner,ticket(stamped),
buckle,butterfly(cream shrink plastic)
sister wording-Tim Holtz
and tied a strip of the fabric through the tag.

LOTV...party time.

Hi.. my last Guest Designer

card today, thanks again

to the girls at LOTV for asking me :)

i have really enjoyed creating with

your gorgeous images.

for this card i have used the very

sweet image.. Best Dress

(love her little face)

she is all dressed up waiting to

go into the party with

her gift/flowers and on time too...

i have coloured with VersaColor cubes,

Marvy pens and stamped in

 StazOn timber brown.

the papers are My Mind's Eye-"Breeze"

and i have used their "Adore" clear stamp set

 for the word party/the patterned bunting.

the metal flourish (gate) is Hero Arts

(stamped and embossed this onto acetate).

the little flowers are

cut from a QuicKutz die,

added a few small pearls
and a bit of sparkle to her dress too.

i have used the very sweet

and my embellies are-pearls,

buttons and linen thread

i am a bit behind really and

only got my first :) Magnolia DooHickey

die-Tildas Ticket last weekend

and have cut it out then folded the top piece over

love these lace corners by Cheery Lynn too
i have coloured with VersaColor cubes
and Marvy pens

they have some fantastic new crafty bits in too..

With it being so rainy this week i couldn't

do much gardening so i had a go

at a couple more wooden signs

this one has been waxed to protect it for

inside and i have another one

which is ready for wax but for outside

and was thinking of putting them on ebay,

just going to find out about postage.

LOTV...Bunny Cupcakes.

Hi..can't believe it is Saturday

already,hope you are doing ok today?

lovely to be here with another LOTV GDT card... 

these two are Bunny Cupcakes..

i love this image sooo much

they have been coloured with

 VersaColor cubes and Marvy pens

i have paper pieced the cupcake cases

and used a bit of glossy accents for the cherries

and large cupcake icing

(looking at them now i they look like

they are sat on the top of a hill :)

the nestabilities are Labels Two

i have used them to make a double frame

with Kraft cardstock and My Mind's Eye-
    Dolled up 6x6 paper
"it's your day" sentiment
is from the LOTV Calendars collection
the cupcake is cut from a
cuttlebug die that i have had for a while
a few buttons too :)

LOTV...Basket of Roses.

Hi..."Happy Easter" to you all

a little gift card holder and bookmark

today for my 2nd LOTV GDT spot.

with the gorgeous Basket of Roses stamp...

love her sweet face,

i have coloured with VersaColor cubes,

 Marvy pens and paper pieced the butterflies

on the front of the holder i made a flower

 with the Crealies Creative die (CLCF 06)

(this lifts up to open the holder)  

and the sentiment is Hero Arts

the LOTV bookmark tucks in the pocket

as an extra gift with a gift card

or pennies and

a bit of space to write a message

the sentiment is Penny Black

the papers are from

the Prima-Songbird 6x6 paper pad 

one smaller flower too

Hi...happy 1st of April to you all,

i have a little scene card today,

i am really excited as for this month

 i have been asked by the lovely

girls at LOTV to be their guest designer :)))))

here is my first card,

just love sweet Milly Hello...

to colour i have used

 VersaColor cubes,Marvy pens and

 walnut stain/scattered straw distress inks

the designer (wall) paper is My Mind's Eye-

dolled up 6x6 paper pad,

i have used kraft for the picture rail

and skirting board,

the present is a QuicKutz die,

the window has a piece of acetate with

some tiny flowers stamped for outside and

the little sentiment is LOTV.

BasicGrey Challenge-Mother's Day/Girlie...

Hi... there,nice to be back in blogland :)

hope you are all ok?

really sorry for not being here,

and missing your yummy posts too.

been a bit poorly for a few weeks

and Nick was a fab nurse/house hubby.

He had to do everything as first time ever

that i have spent a week in bed,

feeling a bit more normal now
and just on the 3rd lot of antibiotics
 as been left with a throat infection.

*thanks Fleur* for bringing George home too,

it really helped soooo much :)

Hi... hope you are having a great day?

lovely and sunny here in Lincolnshire.

i should be in the garden tidying up,

but Saturday afternoon i hurt my back

 washing the kitchen floor

(not as if it was the 1st time lol..) 

and after a visit to the chiropractors

 Monday it is better but 

a bit tender so it was craft time instead :)))))

love this little stamp..

with the lovely sun today

it made me feel like making a bit

 of a Spring card

and also special thanks to Fleur and Avril

 for the laughs yesterday :)

i have paper pieced the flower petals and a leaf

with some left over bits of paper

the sweet little one is mini fairy Tilda

 the window has matching paper piecing too 

a bit of colouring with VersaColor cubes

and i stamped in Staz On timber brown

Hi...hope you are having a nice week so far?

a few makes that i did for

 my demo day at Sirstampalot.

it was a lovely day-thank you :)))))

i was a bit worried with it being so cold/foggy

and with it saying -12 on the car

 temperature gauge when we left home 

 (i say we as Nick and George took me,

just don't like driving in bad fog :)

 

i have used/mixed some lovely stamp sets-

Hero Arts:Sew Artsy clear stamps

Art Impressions:Sewing Shoppe

(which has the sweet

 Life is a patchwork saying)

Hero Arts cling stamp:Make Your Own

all has been stamped in

StazOn Timber Brown

and distressed the edges with

 Pinecone versacolor

the papers are a mix of Kraft and

October Afternoon-Farmhouse

 

for the buttons shaker hanger

i used nesties to make a frame,

 3d foam tape so that the buttons

can move around and wound cotton

around the thread holder/sewing machine spool

 

i stamped the pattern image onto

baking parchment and tucked a few 

patchwork pins in the cushion

love buttons so a few of those too :)

Hi.. i have been looking at all the

yummy new crafty bits due out soon

and Wow... there is sooo much

  a little make to share today...

 

love this sweet Tilda with wrapped heart,

i nearly put her in the bin as i 

just couldn't get my colouring near right but 

she is here and one VERY shabby chic Tilda
 

 i have made a pull out card

(not sure if that's how to describe it??)

as you pull the little heart charm 

the middle slides out to show

the sentiment and a space to write too

not made one for a while and have used

lots of kraft and some red gingham

from the MME 6x6 paper pad-Rosy

i have tucked one of Tildas feet behind the 

nesties frame so she looks like she is

walking forwards to give the heart...

i have made a thank you card,

just making a few bits for a demo day

at Sirstamp next week.

i have used some baking parchment 

out of the kitchen drawer on this one 

for the flower,sentiment and the lovely

new Hero Arts cling stamp-Daisy Label 

also used my new Sizzix Bigz die- Frame Doily

the thank you stamp comes with

the Hero Arts stamp

and for Mum i used some rub-ons

the wording is stamped with

Staz On -Timber Brown

and is by Penny Black-With Heart

the Lace Heart stamp is an old one i think

a little make today with sweet Tilda loves flowers

 Just Magnolia have a great challenge

this week-to have a window or door on your card

i have used the fab Art Impressions door stamp, 
and the lovely Simon Says Stamp Challenge is-
Anything Goes...

(the small lantern comes with the door stamp too)

i made a small blind with October Afternoons 

8x8 paper pad-farmhouse

and added a heart charm pully cord

the plant pot(sorry can't see it on the first photo)
has been stamped on shrink plastic

and i stamped/cut out a few of 

Tildas flowers to go in it.

to colour-VersaColor cubes,Marvy pens

and Distress inks

their is a tag tucked in behind
to write a message on and the 

sentiment is by Penny Black (3410D enjoy...)

(stamped Tildas flowers on the tag too)

i had a bit of a crafty time yesterday
